Contact capture in LeadResearch lets you capture contact information quickly and flexibly from multiple data sources:
Web forms: Contacts are captured directly via integrated web forms and automatically transferred into LeadResearch. Learn more about web forms
Business networks: Relevant contact information can be imported into LeadResearch from business network profiles.
Excel: Existing contact lists can be conveniently uploaded and added via Excel file.
Clipboard (copy & paste): Contact information from websites, company registers, white papers, or similar sources can simply be copied and pasted via the clipboard into LeadResearch.
Company data search lets you start with just a company name or domain and enrich it with all relevant contact information. LeadResearch does this by searching various data sources on the web.
These sources include, among others:
- websites & legal information
- business network company profiles
- Google Maps
- Dun & Bradstreet
- the German commercial register
- and many more.
You can then export the data you find directly into your CRM system.
The search for a contact person helps you immediately identify the most suitable contact person at the company you want to reach. In LeadResearch, you can apply a filter (for example, "Sales") and, within seconds, see all discoverable employees in that area. This works by linking LeadResearch to your personal account on leading business networks and searching for contacts across those networks.
LeadResearch's email validator is used when a specific contact lacks an email address. In such cases, the validator suggests a possible email address and indicates the likelihood of it being correct. LeadResearch searches the internet for available email addresses of the company and integrates this structure into the existing contact.
The likelihood of the correct email address is determined based on the frequency of found variants. For instance, if the system finds two email addresses following the pattern "firstname.lastname" and only one following "f.lastname", then the first variant is deemed the correct one with 66% probability.
LeadResearch is a web application that is browser-independent and accessible without prior installation. Additionally, users can utilize various clients that facilitate communication between LeadResearch and other servers:
- Web browser: The use of LeadResearch is possible regardless of operating system and browser.
- Browser Extension: The extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge simplifies data transmission from websites to LeadResearch's web application.
- Outlook: The add-in for Outlook streamlines data transfer from Outlook into snapAddy DataQuality.
Furthermore, you can pin LeadResearch as a sidebar permanently to the right edge of your browser window—regardless of the tab you're currently viewing.
Exporting the data collected in LeadResearch is straightforward through integration with your CRM system. In Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics, you can directly update existing data within your CRM system without needing to open LeadResearch’s web application. This seamless integration allows LeadResearch’s to appear as a native feature of your CRM system, saving time transferring data to and from the application.
Organization.
You can choose from four different rights and role models to clearly manage access rights and responsibilities within the system. As an admin, you can centrally manage cross-product rights and settings, while LeadResearch Managers have organization-wide rights at the product level. Additionally, a distinction is made between mailbox users and users. The former merely connect their email inbox as a data source in LeadResearch, whereas the latter actively work with the product.
As a snapAddy LeadResearch user, you can create different contact lists to organize your contacts. For example, you can sort by the origin of the data record (such as contact form leads, business network leads, Excel upload, email suggestions, etc.).
LeadResearch distinguishes between personal and shared contact lists. Only you have access to your personal lists, while shared lists are assigned to multiple users. Shared lists enable teams to work on contact lists together and continually enrich them with new contact information.
When selecting a purchase of LeadResearch, you automatically receive the number of licenses booked for our BusinessCards product as well. In the app, you can create your digital business card . The obtained data can then be enriched in LeadResearch and exported to your CRM system.

Security & Privacy.
Your employees can authenticate with LeadResearchs using single sign-on. This allows your administrators to centrally manage all accesses, and your employees only need one password to log into all services. This reduces administrative effort and improves data security within the company.
The data storage and business logic of our software solutions are managed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The processing of personal data therefore occurs exclusively within the EU and Germany, and such data never leaves European borders. We have entered into all GDPR-compliant contracts with AWS as a subcontractor; moreover, our hosting provider is ISO-certified.
