Automatically enrich contact records – complete lead reports with AI support

Imagine this: You're at a trade show and the person you're talking to doesn't have a business card, or their business card data is illegible. In the past, this would have meant that your contact would have had to laboriously dictate everything while you frantically typed or scribbled on a notepad that no one would be able to decipher later. Or the record would be incomplete, requiring your internal sales team to spend valuable time researching. All of this not only disrupts the conversation on site, but also delays automated follow-ups and the entire sales process.

With our new "Company Data" feature, the problem literally takes care of itself. All you need is the first and last name of the person you are talking to and the company name, and the algorithm does the rest. It searches data from several public sources, such as:

  • central e-mail and postal addresses,
  • the company website,
  • central telephone numbers,
  • the company name,
  • and uses known company data structures to compute a suggestion for the contact's personal email address.

After a quick visual check, the data can be saved with a click on the contact and sent to the CRM in seconds as usual, including the lead questionnaire. This way, even if you don't have all the data at hand, you can stay ahead of your competitors who don't have an intelligent solution like VisitReport...

From lead capture to contact data exchange: VisitReport with integrated digital business card

Another feature highlight for VisitReport comes directly from our latest product: snapADDY BusinessCards. This tool offers a digital business card that is super easy to share. Plus our proven business card scanner technology. (Try BusinessCards right here).

BusinessCards took the scanning technology from our VisitReport, so it's only fair that VisitReport now gets BusinessCards' digital business card. With version 3.0, you can not only capture leads as usual, but also provide your own contact data digitally in no time at all.

These were the two most prominent new features, but by no means the only ones. You can see all the new features, optimizations and bug fixes in the following overview:

Other new features:
  • Media files can now be opened with the device's standard apps.
  • PDF files are now opened with a native PDF viewer by default. It is possible to switch back to the integrated viewer in the settings.
  • Number questions now contain buttons to increase or decrease the value slightly.
  • The VisitReport app now also runs on MacOS computers.
Optimizations:
  • A note has been added to the start page of an event to remind users of reports that have not been exported.
  • A description text display has been added to each Info Center page.
  • Improved the layout of page headers with search bars.
  • Draft events are now visible to users with the appropriate permissions, even if the event's lifetime settings would normally prevent this.
  • The indicator for the info center in the bottom tab bar has been improved.
  • The layout of the country selection modal has been improved, especially for languages where the names are very long, such as German.
  • A new sheet modal has been added to improve the handling of recipients of follow-up emails.
  • A new sheet modal has been added to improve the handling of attachments of follow-up emails.
  • In the Infocenter, the entry in the default language of the event is now fixed at the top of the list.
  • Prefabricated attachments for follow-up emails can now be displayed directly on the follow-up email preview page.
  • A refresh button has been added to the Meetings page, in addition to the existing pull-to-refresh functionality.
  • Improved the display of meetings that were not created with the new Meetings section of Events, but with an older method.
  • Branding settings of events are now also applied to the bottom bars on Android.
  • A message has been added to inform users if no results are found after searching in the list of users that can be selected in terminal mode.
  • You can now upgrade from the old MS Dynamics OData API to the new WebAPI via system integration (mapping). Please contact your snapADDY Customer Success Manager for support.
Bugfixes:
  • Fixed the camera icon in the LinkedIn search bar being the wrong color.
  • Fixed an issue where some error messages related to exporting reports to a CRM were not displayed correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where users received an error message regarding the media library when launching the app
  • Fixed an issue where the media library would not load properly after switching between snapADDY accounts that are members of different organizations.
  • Fixed an issue where users in an event with inventory data could get stuck in an empty participant modal if they clicked "Cancel" in the duplicate inventory data check window after scanning a business card.
  • Fixed an issue where the camera would open below the event list when trying to change your avatar image without an event selected.
  • Fixed an issue with the camera on the iPhone 14/15 Pro where the camera was blurry when scanning business cards.
