Contact Capture
The company data search allows you to supplement relevant contact information based on a company name or domain. This is possible because snapADDY DataQuality searches various data sources on the internet.
Some of these sources include:
- Websites & imprint pages
- LinkedIn company profiles
- Google Maps
- Dun & Bradstreet
- The German commercial register
- and many more.
You can then directly export the found data into your CRM system.
With the contact person search, you can quickly find the most suitable contact person for the company you wish to reach. You can apply a filter (e.g., "Sales") to narrow your search, and in no time, you'll receive all available employees from that department. This is possible by linking your personal LinkedIn and/or XING account, allowing DataQuality to search for contacts within these business networks.
The DataQuality email validator can be used if no email address is available for a specific contact. In this case, the validator suggests a possible email address and indicates the probability of its accuracy. DataQuality searches the internet for available email addresses of the company and structures this information for the contact.
The probability of the correct email address is calculated based on the frequency of found variations. For example, if the system finds two email addresses following the pattern "first name dot last name" but only one following "first initial dot last name," then the first variation is considered correct with a 66% probability.
snapADDY DataQuality analyzes incoming emails from your inbox and generates new contact suggestions from the signatures. These suggestions appear in your contact list within the DataQuality client. Email contents are never stored.
To avoid unnecessary data clutter, only plausible emails are converted into contact suggestions. A key criterion is that the email address in the signature matches the sender's address. If you are connected to one of the supported CRMs, a duplicate check with your CRM is also performed for each contact suggestion.
In the DataQuality settings, you can create your custom contact form and embed it on your website using HTML code. Thanks to the DataQuality integration, the contact details provided by the website visitor are directly imported into a selected contact list. You can then enrich this data with additional information and export it to your CRM system.
More information on contact forms
You can also import contact data found on websites, company registers, whitepapers, or similar sources into DataQuality using the well-known "copy and paste" method. An even more convenient way is using the "Ctrl+C+C" function: simply highlight the found contact data and press Ctrl+C+C. snapADDY DataQuality will then open with a new contact field containing the copied data. This requires that DataQuality is open along with the visited website and that the DataQuality Browser Extension is installed.
DataQuality is a web application that is available independently of the browser without prior installation. Additionally, various clients are available to facilitate communication between DataQuality and other servers:
- Web browser: Use DataQuality independently of the operating system and browser.
- Browser extension: Extensions for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge make data transfer from websites to DataQuality easier.
- Outlook: The Outlook Add-In simplifies transferring data from Outlook to snapADDY DataQuality.
When setting up your DataQuality profile, you will be prompted to install the snapADDY Helper. This is an extension for the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers that establishes a connection between your CRM system and the snapADDY dashboard. In practice, this simplifies the process of transferring contact data from various sources.
The Helper appears as a "Transfer" button in different applications when searching for company data and contact persons.
Here are the main areas of application: Google Maps, Google search results, LinkedIn, and XING.
Additionally, the Helper supports data export to your CRM system.

CRM Features
CRM mapping means synchronizing fields between DataQuality and your CRM system. This is possible with standard fields such as name, company, and phone number, which may vary depending on the CRM system.
snapADDY’s CRM mapping also enables customization and extension of fields. This allows custom fields in your CRM to be populated by DataQuality.
Exporting data collected in DataQuality is seamless due to its integration with CRM systems. Supported CRMs include:
Need integration with another CRM? We offer API support and assistance with the integration process.
The Updater Button is a feature in your CRM system that allows data transfer from the CRM to the snapADDY DataQuality application. This enables an existing contact to be retrieved from your CRM, enriched with additional data, and then exported back into your CRM system.
The Smart Updater function allows you to update existing data in your CRM system directly without having to open the DataQuality web application. This ensures that the DataQuality feature seamlessly integrates into your CRM interface, appearing as a native CRM function. As a result, you save time by eliminating the need to manually transfer data between your CRM system and the application.
The Smart Updater is available for the following CRM systems:
- Salesforce
- Microsoft Dynamics

Using artificial intelligence, snapADDY DataQuality can detect phonetic similarities or other commonalities between new and/or existing records in your CRM system. If similarities between two records are detected, this is indicated using a traffic light system:
Red means a duplicate has been found. Clicking on the colored markers provides further details about the detected duplicates.

Organization & General Features
As a DataQuality administrator, you can define general standards to ensure that all data is recorded and displayed in a consistent format. One example is the phone number preset, where you can globally specify how phone numbers should be formatted in DataQuality (e.g., always including a "+" and the corresponding country code). This helps maintain uniform data formatting.
As a snapADDY DataQuality user, you can create various contact lists to help organize your contacts. For example, you can categorize them based on their source, such as:
- Contact form leads
- LinkedIn leads
- Excel uploads
- Email suggestions
You can choose between personal and shared contact lists:
- Personal lists are only accessible to you.
- Shared lists can be assigned to multiple users, allowing teams to collaboratively manage and enrich contact lists with additional data.
More about shared contact lists
You can use snapADDY DataQuality not only as a tab in your browser but also as a fixed sidebar on the right side of your browser window—independent of which tab you are currently viewing.
When you purchase snapADDY DataQuality, you automatically receive the same number of licenses for our BusinessCards product. Within the app, you can:
- Create your own digital business card.
- Scan business cards to extract and digitize contact information.
The captured data can then be enriched in DataQuality and exported to your CRM system.
DataQuality Automation Features
DataQuality Automation is a solution for enterprise customers designed for automated data quality control. The core idea behind DataQuality Automation is to automate the processes of contact data collection and maintenance, helping you save time while ensuring consistent data quality in your CRM system.
The use of DataQuality Automation can be customized to fit your specific needs, making the possibilities with this tool virtually limitless. To give you an overview of its settings and features, we have summarized the key points below:
On your DataQuality Automation homepage, you can view the number of automatically processed data records. For example, you can see how many email contacts were created or updated within a certain period. This provides a quick overview of the data volume DataQuality is handling for you.
With customized workflows, you can define which data should be automatically processed. You can also choose whether the processes should run fully automated or if manual approval is required before applying changes. This is particularly recommended for critical contact data such as phone numbers and email addresses. However, automated updates can be useful for less critical changes, such as job title updates.
Maintain full control: with the "Contact Suggestions" feature, you have the final approval over whether to accept or reject proposed changes. You can decide whether to keep or overwrite contact information generated by workflows.
Contact Suggestions with DataQuality Automation
The logs feature provides an overview of the latest workflow executions within your organization. It also indicates whether a workflow has failed and needs attention.
With DataQuality Automation, every contact can be assigned a timestamp when receiving an email, provided you have enabled this option. The timestamp indicates when the contact was last verified. Even if no changes were made to the contact, the timestamp is updated when a new email arrives, ensuring that contact details are regularly checked and validated.
